The open source nature of the crypto community has made it possible for developers from around the world to contribute to projects in a clear and direct format. The Freehold project aims to develop this same kind of dialogue and contribution from other members of the crypto community and not just developers. Focused on the Blockstack and Bitcoin ecosystems, Freeholders are hodlers and promoters of cryptocurrencies. One of the key aspects of the project is that participants must hodl their crypto. This brings together people who all have a common belief that in the not so distant future crypto will be a major part of how different systems work. Whether it’s financial, informational, logistical, entertainment or economic, crypto will be involved.
Empowering a group of people by rewarding them in crypto for creating informational content designed to help expand knowledge and use cases for different crypto projects in the basic concept behind Freehold. Creating awareness and dialogue about Blockstack, Bitcoin and other crypto projects will ultimately help to drive adoption and innovation.
